A unique, largescale survey of the works collected by Amsterdam couple Martijn en Jeannette Sanders. With works by David Claerbout, Gilbert & George, Anton Henning, Anselm Kiefer, Cindy Sherman and many others.
Martijn and Jeannette Sanders began collecting art in the 1970s. In this video we follow the couple during the installation of the exhibition Bad Thoughts. While the works are being unpacked for the exhibition, we see the couple walking through the various rooms in the company of curator Martijn van Nieuwenhuyzen. Mr. and Mrs. Sanders now see their collection presented on this scale for the very first time. In these moments new relationships between their purchases become visible.
