Sensory Spaces 3 - Elad Lassry

Sensory Spaces is a series of commissioned solo projects presented in the Willem van der Vorm Gallery, located in the freely accessible exhibition space in the entrance hall of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. Artists are invited to respond to the architectural qualities of the space, emphasizing notions of transformation and surprise.

The third site-specific installation is made by Elad Lassry (1977, Tel Aviv, lives and works in Los Angeles). It is the first time his work is shown in a Dutch museum.
Using photography, stagings, films and performances Lassry exposes the relationship between image and reality with consummate control.

In this video curator Noor Mertens explains the work.
