Potter Michelle Erickson is well known for her mastery of 18th century pottery techniques. In this film, created by the Victoria and Albert Museum while Erickson was their artist in residence, she recreates an 18th century Staffordshire agate teapot. Erickson demonstrates and explains the process including the creation of the molds, the pattern on the clay, and the press molding of the form.
