The Ingalls Library is the third largest art research library in the United States with over 465000 + volumes and is open to the public during normal business hours. In December 2011, library staff moved 100000 items out of storage in December 2011 but will be reintegrating them into the stack areas through June 2012. Listen to Betsy Lanz, Director of the Library and Museum Archives, discuss the move. The library supports research and learning and provides assistance to anyone seeking information on art.
