The Chipstone Foundation hosted a Green Fair at the Milwaukee Art Museum in conjunction with its Green Furniture exhibition. This event, aimed at increasing environmental awareness, took place on January 30, 2010. The day consisted of artist talks in the Green Furniture exhibition, artist demonstrations teaching how to create green objects, a boulevard of local Green vendors, a thought-provoking symposium, and the building of snow furniture on the museum grounds. The symposium included well-known local speakers Ken Dunn, James Godsil, Tom Kubala, Vince Micha, and Nik Kovac discussing building green, eating green, voting green and thinking green.
