00:00:08 My name is Phillip Lynam,

00:00:09 I work on all aspects of Star Studio Exhibitions. We're doing the project, in collaboration with the conservation department, Sebastiano Mainardi: The Science of Art, the restoration of a renaissance altarpiece

00:00:21 and each visitor can, kind of, paint one of these panels and then add it back in to the wall, so we have this kind of ever changing visitor created

00:00:29 representation of the painting that the conservators are working on. The conservators will actually be in the studio, available for visitors to come in and see them working and because they're all watercolor

00:00:39 the idea, too, is that if you arrive and you really wanted to paint a particular panel and it's already been painted, you can bring it in here and actually clean the watercolor off of it using some of the types of swabs and

00:00:48 tools that conservators use to clean paintings and then repaint it in your own way. Who knows, we might see sort of a Warhol silkscreen version of Sebastiano Mainardi's altarpiece.
