Ann Hamilton discusses the inspirations behind her performance / installation indigo blue.

I am writing a final paper on Ann Hamilton and was wondering if you had any interesting talking points I could add to my paper or if you would be willing to let me read your thesis? I feel thats a weird thing to ask some one but I had to to ask! Thanks Stephanie

I wrote my thesis on Ann Hamilton. I discussed indigo blue, and three other installations from the early 90s that incorporated "altered books." I think she is an incredible artist, but also a wonderful contemporary thinker. Her insights on language, art and culture are really interesting.
