0:00:02
Before heading off to Burning Man, join us for the first What’s the Big Idea? Night of the 2009/10 season to celebrate the success of our first ever PUSH PLAY> YBCA Summer Festival and experience the ART in pARTies! Turn up the heat with the world’s greatest Cuban surf rock band, The Cuban Cowboys, the 21st century tribal shimmy of Mezklah, the outrageous acts of Dwayne Calizo and the Voice Factory, and the spellbinding rhythms of Kulintronica. Shake off the chill with the KPFA DJ all-stars Aztec Parrot, Wey South, Black and Kool Kyle as they spin fury and bliss in Gallery 2.

YBCA is a 15-year-old multidisciplinary arts center that anchors the dynamic Yerba Buena Cultural District in downtown San Francisco. YBCA works continuously to break new ground with its programs in visual art, performance and film/video, and to connect our programs to a broad cross section of the community, not just the art elite. Our facilities are comprised of two landmark buildings with 12,000 square feet of gallery space, a 94-seat Screening Room, flexible performance/meeting space and a 750-seat Theater.
