In conjunction with the exhibition, Gorgeous, at the Asian Art Museum (June 20–Sept 14, 2014), staff of the Asian Art Museum, in partnership with 32K Productions and local travel writer Stuart Schuffman (Broke-Ass Stuart), traversed San Francisco over three days in March 2014. We challenged people to discuss extremes and ambiguities extending beyond conventional notions of beauty to be perceived as gorgeous.
