Artist Luis Camnitzer and educator Nick Kozak talk about the teacher’s guide that Camnitzer produced for the Under the Same Sun exhibition and discuss some of the fascinating ways in which teachers and students have approached the booklet’s assignments. Focusing on artworks including Alfredo Jaar’s A Logo for America and Tania Bruguera’s Tatlin’s Whisper #6 (Havana Version), Camnitzer and Kozak explore issues of identity, censorship, and power relations.
