Despite (or perhaps because of) the bad reputation that the Tenderloin has garnered, it has become a haven for some of the best ethnic eateries and dive bars in the city as well as alternative art spaces. In May 2007, GALLERY CRAWL visited two adjoining galleries in this colorful San Francisco hood, the White Walls Gallery and The Shooting Gallery.
