The IMA commissioned eight contemporary artists from around the world to respond to the 100 Acres site with installations that comment on the nexus of art and nature. Hear the artists in dialogue about their work with the curators, park architects, and IMA staff who collaborated to bring 100 Acres to life. The forum includes park artists and architects as well as Lisa D. Freiman, Chair, Department of Contemporary Art at the IMA; Andrew Bordwin and Adam Ames, Team Building (Align); Sarah Urist Green, Associate Curator of Contemporary Art; Brad Dilger, Design & Installation; Brose Partington, Design & Installation; Jenny Mikulay, Assistant Professor of Fines Arts at IUPUI; Andrea Zittel, Indianapolis Island; Jessica Dunn, Island resident; Dave Hunt, 100 Acres Project Manager; Jeremy Olsen, Project Architect of Stratum Pier; Marlon Blackwell, Architect of 100 Acres Visitors Pavilion; Dagoberto Rodríguez Sánchez, Free Basket; Mike Bir, Design & Installation; Rebecca Uchill, Former Associate Curator of Contemporary Art; Joep van Lieshout, Funky Bones; Chad Franer, Manager of Horticulture; Alfredo Jaar, Park of the Laments; and Maxwell Anderson, The Melvin & Bren Simon Director and CEO. This entertaining salon was hosted by author and vlogger John Green.
