See the exhibition, Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures from the National Museum, Kabul on view at the the Asian Art Museum (from October 24, 2008– January 25, 2009) and watch the Bay Area's own Ballet Afsaneh, a dynamic ensemble whose repertory focuses on Silk Road regions in Central Asia, performs colorful, kinetic traditional dance.
