Potter Michelle Erickson is well known for her mastery of 18th century pottery techniques. In this film, created by the Victoria and Albert Museum while Erickson was an artist in residence, she recreates an 18th century puzzle jug from the V & A's collection. A puzzle jug is a vessel that was used in an 18th century drinking game. Erickson demonstrates and explains the making process as well as how to use this curious object.
