David Willis began flameworking in 1994, after receiving a bachelor's degree from U.C. Berkeley in Social Science, with a minor in Conservation and Resources Studies. Drawing from an intense interest in the natural world, Willis' work addresses the relationships between people and nature, on an individual, personal, and societal level. Willis lives and works in Portland, OR.
