Ross Richmond started working with glass in 1991 at the Cleveland Institute of Art. He is considered one of the top glass sculptors in the field today, and has worked with (and for) some of the greatest glass and non-glass artists, including William Morris, Jane Rosen, Preston Singletary, KeKe Cribbs, and Dale Chihuly. Richmond's pieces work mainly with figurative elements and symbolic objects. His work is shown at a number of galleries around the country, and he teaches in the United States and Canada.
