San Francisco-based Joe Goode Performance Group (JGPG), known for melding dance with theater, performs Wonderboy, a recent work created by artistic director Joe Goode in collaboration with puppeteer Basil Twist, with music by singer/violinist Carla Kihlstedt and pianist/drummer Matthias Bossi. Wonderboy is an unexpected tale of a peculiar superhero isolated by his gift of sensitivity. JGPG also performs 29 Effeminate Gestures, a signature 12-minute dance solo masterpiece. Presented by IMA, International Theatre Indianapolis and Butler University, with support from the Christel DeHaan Family Foundation.
