Cindy Bernard, LA artist, founder of SASSAS, and cofounder of MOCA Mobilization offers us three uses of the YouTube archive: resurrecting lost cultural heritage, remembering personal history, and preserving our fragile memory. Curating for MOCAtv, Bernard selects a censored David Bowie and Marianne Faithfull duet, a Minutemen song that was her high school anthem, and the just-woken Fred Frith and Iva Bittová performing Pavel Fajt's delicate "Morning Song."
Video produced and edited by Stephan Pagano and Tom Salvaggio.
