Charles Sandison reflects on his 'Figurehead' installation for the Peabody Essex Museum's very first FreePort. Sandison brings PEM's East India Marine Hall into dazzling new light with handwritten words and illustrations from PEM's own collection of ship logs and sailor's journals.
