Artist Gabriela Albergaria makes trees. More specifically, she uses the agricultural technique of grafting to reconstruct fallen trees and give them new form. With help from San Francisco Recreation and Parks, follow the journey of the sick trees she chose from their home in Golden Gate Park to the gallery of the Contemporary Jewish Museum as a part of the exhibition Do Not Destroy: Trees, Art, and Jewish Thought.
