Watch Beccy Feather and Alex Rosenberg demonstrate for their class, Kill Your Darlings. This furnace working class will ask, "What is the difference between 'my process' and 'my practice?' How does the act of 'making' influence the ideas behind what artists make?"

Beccy Feather was born in Suffolk, England. She attended Wolverhampton University in the UK and graduated with a 1st class BA (Honors) in Glass. She has travelled and worked for studios in Canada, America, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Turkey. In 2010, Feather completed an M.F.A. in Glass from Rochester Institute of Technology. Presently she works at Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center in Millville, NJ.

Alexander Rosenberg is an artist and educator in the Crafts Department at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He received a B.F.A. from Rhode Island School of Design's Glass program and has been fascinated with the material ever since. After a period of freelance fabrication and assisting several established artists with studio work and research, Rosenberg went on to MIT to study in a two-year master's program in visual studies. There, he continued his investigation of glass as a material, in conjunction with an interdisciplinary artistic practice that crossed over into many other media. Since earning his master's degree, he continues his work as an artist with residencies, public performances, and local and international exhibitions. He currently lives and works in Philadelphia, PA.
