The Propeller Group reveals the inspiration for their creative rebranding of the Guggenheim UBS MAP Global Art Initiative. The idea, they explain, originated in an encounter with Joel Coen, director of No Country for Old Men, which occurred just as the artists were trying to decipher the W. B. Yeats poem from which June Yap’s exhibition No Country and the Coen Brothers’ film both take their titles. The group then describes their interest in exploring public image within institutional contexts. [April 18, 2013 symposium]
